OK, so you’re not a green thumb. And you’re positive that no amount of gardening advice will help. In fact if killing plants was a crime, you’d be doing hard time.

Even with all of those great gardening tips your parents and grandparents passed along to you, you feel lost - no, AFRAID of even thinking about starting a garden of your own. Don’t be afraid! Just accept that you’re gonna kill stuff. It’s o.k.! That’s how we learn.

When I started gardening, I didn’t know the difference between an annual and a perennial - a jalapeno and a turnip. In fact, I’m STILL learning. I’m not a professional gardener, which is why I understand and appreciate the value of sound and simple gardening advice, for everyday people.

With an adventurous spirit, a little dirt, and some sunshine, along with some of the gardening tips you’ll find throughout this site, you’ve got just about everything you need to unleash the gardener within.
